Haus Elfriede

The owners really care about their guests and make their well-being a priority. This is a lovely owner-managed guesthouse, with beautifully furnished rooms and an excellent breakfast. Booking and getting in touch beforehand were both very straightforward.

The owner is so friendly, and the place is truly lovely. I felt right at home. The rooms are modern and clean, with fly screens and everything you need. Breakfast is excellent, and the house is centrally located. That's what a holiday should be like 💝🤗

The welcome at Haus Elfriede felt like seeing old friends. We were offered a complimentary drink, given information, and had all our questions answered, while the children had plenty of time to ask their own. At breakfast, the choice was excellent and the food was delicious. We could say how many rolls and other items we wanted, which helped avoid waste. The room was charming, very clean, and had a small kitchenette. Guests can also use an air fryer, which is perfect for snacks on a longer stay. My children, who are 8 and 12, and I decided spontaneously to spend two nights on Baltrum and booked a room there. The incredibly warm welcome began at the harbor, where a horse-drawn carriage picked us up, our first highlight. We all had such a good time, and it's always hard to leave our favorite island, but this time was especially difficult. Dear Susanne and Wulf, thank you for your hospitality. The three of us will definitely come back, and let's meet for coffee on our next family holiday with the dogs. Thanks for everything.

We haven't met hosts this lovely before. From the moment we walked in, we knew this would be our next holiday home. Susanne is so warm and welcoming, and everything about the house feels just right. We've already booked our next holiday on Baltrum here and can't wait to return.
