We rented all three apartments for a weekend, so the whole house was ours. The café and bar by the entrance were closed while we were there. The apartments were clean, practical, and fairly newly furnished. They had plenty of space, though the bathrooms were quite small. With a large group, hot water for showers took some managing, but it was fine for a weekend. The landlord was friendly and helpful, and the kitchens had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The old town and its sights are an easy walk away, and there are more cafés, bakeries, pubs, and convenience stores nearby than you could get through. There’s a parking garage close by, where a “congress ticket” covers three days. We’ll be back!

Schlenkerla is just three steps away, and the Old Town Hall and Marienplatz are only a few more. There’s a nice cafe downstairs. The place also has all the amenities, including a kitchen and dishes.

We had a men’s weekend in Bamberg and came away with memories that’ll last. The place is small, simply furnished, elegant, and a little different.

The location is right in the city center, which is great. But the photos set different expectations. It was small and only moderately clean.
