The price was very reasonable, but I’d specifically asked for a room with its own bath and toilet. Both were actually shared with other guests, and there wasn’t any soap or towels.

Fred is super friendly and easygoing. We found a OneNiteTent pitch at his place while passing through, and the spot was great. There’s a field behind it where you can enjoy the sunset, and it’s quiet even though the city is close. The nearest bus stop is within easy reach, so Dresden is quick to get to. I’d definitely return, and would probably book a room next time I’m in Dresden. 👍

A 10-minute walk gets you to the bus for Dresden. Evenings had a cool atmosphere, and I had some good conversations with Fred. I’m so glad I found this place. It was a great time in a great spot, and I highly recommend it. Michael

After my health insurance didn’t approve my stay as a carer for a sick child in Kreischa, I looked for a cheaper option and ended up staying with Fred. We had friendly contact, and he made me a fair offer. The room wasn’t needed once the insurance didn’t approve the stay, but he still offered the optional Trabant tour. That’s real hospitality.

The garden is beautiful and well looked after. Getting into town is easy even late at night: bus 360 stops right in the center. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the accommodation.
