The room itself was clean, but the carpets looked neglected, and the noise made the stay miserable. The air-conditioning was especially loud, and a dog left alone nearby cried through the night, waking the whole floor. I understand dogs are allowed, but there should be rules about leaving them alone. The breakfast situation at checkout was just as frustrating. At 10:30, people were still eating, but when I picked up a muffin and banana, the receptionist told me breakfast was closed and said, “I’m sorry, we don’t do it like that here!” I wasn’t asking for a full meal, and it felt ridiculous to be treated as if I were stealing food. The selection had been sparse anyway, just ham, cheese, and bread that looked old, with no eggs or bacon. It seemed the leftovers were being kept for the next day. It was a really unpleasant experience. We only stayed because we booked at the last minute. I’d avoid this place.

Handy for the highway, and the rooms are large enough for a short stop. The place feels industrial and grey, though. The stained carpets smell and don’t seem clean, which is particularly off-putting in a hotel that allows dogs. The air-conditioning is also very noisy, from 8 a.m. until 1 a.m.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and practical. Getting there was easy since the hotel is right by the motorway, though the surrounding area is an industrial estate. There’s no staff after 10 p.m., which is normal for B&B hotels. Parking costs €5, and breakfast wasn’t worth €12.

By 9 a.m. breakfast was already picked over. The tomatoes had mold on them, and the rest didn’t look appealing either. The floor and doors around the hotel looked dirty, with what seemed like blood on some doors and handles. My bed had an orange stain and lots of hair, and the towels looked used too. The room was so cramped I couldn’t find a clear spot to open my suitcase.

Easy to reach at any hour, and very close to the A2. The rooms were super clean too. This brand has given me another fantastic hotel stay.
