Ostsee-Landhaus

A beautiful, clean, spacious Landhaus, with very friendly staff. We stayed as two big families and all fit comfortably in one unit. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay!

We came back for our second holiday here this year and had another wonderful stay. It was easy to book, our room request was taken into account, and we could even reserve the sauna at short notice. The room was clean and left in perfect condition. It’s very peaceful and rural around here, great for walks, while plenty of shops are only a few minutes away by car. The owner is friendly and easy to talk to, and our conversations always feel relaxed and equal. He makes you feel like more than just a guest. Because he loves animals, we got to watch the kestrel raise its young, and it’s lovely seeing all the different birds that have settled here. We’d definitely recommend staying here, and we’ll be back again and again.

We were 11 adults and 9 children staying at Ostsee-Landhaus in Zweedorf in October, our fourth visit. Arranging the booking, check-in, departure, and email updates was all straightforward. The hosts are very friendly, and they let our small dog come along after we asked. Each family had its own apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, and living and sleeping area. Everything was clean and comfortably furnished. We were able to have breakfast all together, bringing our own food and drinks. In good weather, guests in the downstairs apartments can sit out on a terrace. We also booked the lounge with a fireplace. There’s an indoor play area for children as well as an outdoor playground, and Rerik and Kühlungsborn are just a short drive away. Wonderful for the fourth time. Thank you! Sylvia Scharff

Ostsee-Landhaus has been thoughtfully renovated and extended, from the old building to the grounds, and is tastefully furnished and very well organized. It’s farther from the Baltic Sea’s tourist centers, but the setting is idyllic and peaceful. I imagine it gets busier in peak season than it is during the fall off-season. They’ve clearly thought about making people of all ages feel at home, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it.
