Haus Amberger

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the Predigtstuhl apartment was very well equipped. We stayed for a week, slept really well in the new box-spring bed, and found shopping easy with an Edeka supermarket and bakery just around the corner. Mrs. Amberger-Steidle was a welcoming landlady, communication was excellent, and getting the key from a safe with a code sent in advance worked great. We're already looking forward to returning to the same apartment in summer. Highly recommended!

It's a good spot for a quiet break, with garden and mountain views from the balcony. The apartment is comfortable and practical, and there’s free parking at the house and an EDEKA supermarket almost next door with all the essentials. The holiday home with the Amberger-Steidle apartment is in Bayerisch Gmein, just outside Bad Reichenhall, whose center you can reach via the B20 or local roads. The owner was away during our first week, but a very friendly contact person was there and gave us useful excursion tips.

Mrs. Amberger and the other guesthouse owners were so lovely, and their dog Vincent is an absolute sweetheart. For the season, it was a good price. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and comfortable, with a balcony and kitchen, and everything was perfectly clean.
