Klosterhof - Alpine Hideaway & Spa

The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a warm, amazing room with a beautiful view, and enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. There was plenty of parking, and Lake Konigssee is 30 mins away. I'd fully recommend it.

The spa loft suite made for a very romantic getaway. With the pandemic still ongoing, I was most comfortable having a sauna and jacuzzi in our room, and room service meant we could eat without leaving it. The food was delicious, especially the venison, and the service was fabulous. Staff were responsive and handled things directly. Everyone wore masks, including guests in public areas. We also loved the beautiful views from the room and hiking trails right by the hotel entrance. Very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

The birthday surprise on departure morning was such a lovely touch. It was my partner's birthday, and the staff brought us a personal candle lit cake, then gave us a small gift and card at checkout. Everyone made us feel at home, and even the owner came to introduce herself and wish us a good stay. The fine dining was amazing, and the Sommelier's passion made the wine pairing an adventure of its own. We loved the views and spa too, and the front desk agent greeted us warmly and explained the hotel and its services. She even made sure my dog had food and a comfy bed. We usually go to Allgäu for short weekend getaways, but tried Klosterhof this time and didn't regret it for a second. If you want a break from daily stress with that home with family feeling, I can only highly recommend klosterhof. Thanks for a memorable trip. We'll definitely return.

The food was fresh and really good, and the staff were kind, friendly, and flexible about our needs. Our room was beautiful and clean, and there’s an EV charging point too. I also forgot a bikini there, and they sent it to me for free, which I really appreciate. It's a lovely place for couples or solo travelers looking to get away near the mountains. Small children may find it less suitable, as there's no playground and dinner waits can be long, though it was still nice. One suggestion: the wooden balcony floor could use polishing or treatment, since we got splinters walking barefoot. We had a wonderful stay overall and I'd stay here again.
