Pension Mühlbauer

Mrs. Mühlbauer was so kind and helpful with ideas for excursions. This was our second year in a row at Pension Mühlbauer, and we’d happily recommend it. Our room was spotless and tidy, the bathroom spacious and clean, and breakfast was good. I did miss having an egg each day, but it’s nothing to complain about.

The value for money is fantastic, and Bayrischzell is easy to explore on foot from this excellent location. This was our second stay, and we’d gladly return. Everyone is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is tasty with something for everyone, more than enough for a guesthouse. Best regards, the Pointner family.

Breakfast was a lovely finishing touch to my first stay today. The room was in great shape and everything was very clean. I was impressed and will be back soon.

We had a very nice, clean room at the top with a balcony, but the rest of the stay was a real shame. Breakfast fell short: there was always too little butter, boiled eggs were only available if requested, and the sausage never changed. At checkout, we found the confirmation and invoice were wrong, and we’d been charged for one night too few. The final total went up without a word of apology. We paid the correct amount, of course. Then, in front of other guests in the breakfast room, Ms. Mühlbauer asked how we’d pay for a pillowcase stained by hair dye. That could have been handled privately at another time. When we left, we were told to dispose of our own empty glass bottles because she wouldn’t clean up other people’s glass waste. We’ve never experienced anything like this elsewhere.
