After our hike, our group had a great meal at the hotel restaurant. The food looked as good as it tasted, portions were generous, and the prices were decent. Our waitress was polite and lovely, which made the experience even better. The dining area downstairs was nice, and the toilets were clean. I’d recommend eating here after a hike. Food 5/5, prices 4/5, waitress 5/5.

The sauna area is modern, with four different saunas and a large space to relax. We found the hotel good value for money: the staff were very friendly, the food was excellent with generous portions, and the rooms were big. We booked a room for two and got a separate room with bunk beds. That room felt a little older and had an old carpet, but it was still very comfortable and even had a balcony. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Sudelfeld ski area, with a ski bus stop right outside.

After a day hiking in the mountains, the sauna was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Our room was lovely, and the food was well made, typical Bavarian fare. Breakfast was also Bavarian style, plentiful, and came with good coffee. A lovely hotel and highly recommended for the price.

We spent over a year trying to work with Ms. Kirchberger at this hotel to arrange two midweek nights for our wedding guests. The process brought nothing but delayed replies and problems, and it was an extremely negative experience. Thankfully, we found several friendlier, more accommodating hotels in the area, all less than 1 km away. I’d steer clear of this poorly managed place for hosting wedding guests.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good food, and great views from this little hotel in the middle of a small town surrounded by mountains. I recommend it.
