The regional, seasonal dishes were the highlight for us. We chose goose for the main course and leg, and both were delicious. The menu has plenty of options, with regional classics alongside burgers and daily specials, thanks to the South American chef who runs the kitchen. We came for a late lunch and had a friendly, attentive welcome from the owner. It was packed, with two large groups at long tables in adjoining rooms and every dining room table taken. Our party of four with a reservation shared a round table for six with a couple, which seems to be common here. Highly recommended, especially paired with a hike.

The hiking area around here is lovely in summer and can be appealing in winter too, depending on the weather. It sounds like you can stay overnight and keep hiking from hill to hill through the beautiful Ærów Lusatian Highlands. There's plenty of parking, though the last 50 meters are a steep uphill walk. Dogs are allowed, and on busy days it's worth calling to check availability or book. After our hike we ate at the restaurant. The menu is small but has something for everyone, from meat and regional dishes to vegan options and burgers, plus tasty starters. Prices are a little higher, but fair for the quality. The view is beautiful, the service was great, and everyone was friendly. We'd happily return when we're in the area, which for me is back home.

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, just the thing before heading out on a hike. We had a lovely two-night break: the rooms are small but comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay, and the food was genuinely delicious at reasonable prices. The setting is fantastic, with free parking and very friendly, attentive staff. Even the email exchange beforehand was welcoming and included directions for getting there. I'd gladly come back and can highly recommend it.

The little one was well catered for, with two toy boxes, and the surroundings and atmosphere were lovely. Everything we ate tasted great, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. We’ve been to Bieleboh three times now for celebrations or a holiday, and it’s such a welcoming, family-friendly place. We’ll be back again. See you next time!
