I was glad to find Pension Hackbarth about 5 km downriver after cycling the Altmühlradweg. I had originally planned to stop in Beilngries, but couldn't find acceptable accommodation for one person. The hosts were very friendly, my room was nice, and breakfast was more than enough. There's also a very good restaurant, Sonne, just across the bridge. I'll definitely be back!

We've stayed at this guesthouse twice now and really like it. The Hackbarth family are friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are clean with charming furnishings. Everything's great!

Annemarie and Werner were attentive, friendly hosts when we stayed at this lovely little guesthouse again recently. Breakfast had everything we could want, and we're already thinking about our next holiday there.

The area is lovely for walks in the woods and cycling, and everyone is welcome at Hackbarth's private guesthouse. Everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Breakfast in the conservatory was wonderful, and our bicycles were stored very well. We were three couples traveling by bike and only booked one night at Pension Hackbarth, which was a shame. Mr. and Mrs. Hackbarth were fantastic hosts and gave us great tips for dinners and excursions nearby.
