Really good.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the location worked well for our two-night stay. The restaurant area is being renovated right now. We noticed a new owner, who seemed to be doing all he could to make guests happy, despite what earlier reviews said. Thanks to the manager from the four bikers.

The lakes nearby were lovely, though if you're driving there, dogs have to stay on a leash almost everywhere. The village residents didn't seem very happy with the owners either. The place looked rough from outside, with a dirty, rundown facade and weeds. Parking was beside a busy main road, so we had to watch that our dog didn't jump out. Inside, the furniture looked about 30 years old and could use an update. The owner could be unfriendly, the food was okay, and cleanliness could have been better.

The owner was the one real downside. She seemed annoyed and was rather unfriendly, even though we were the only guests, and we felt as if we needed to apologize for being there. For our weekend dog training course, the place worked perfectly. There was a large seminar room, dogs could go everywhere, and it was clean and tidy. A field right behind the building was handy for walks, and we were allowed to use a small fenced garden too. Food could be ordered, and apparently it was quite good. I can't say how overnight stays are, though dogs are allowed there as well. 🐕
