We were there for work, and I'd happily come back. The restaurant had a good range of dishes, the food was very nice, and the staff were attentive. Our balcony looked down over the River Rhine, with beautiful views. The hotel sits up a hill and has lovely views of the river too. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, a minibar, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. I highly recommend staying here.

After a long workday, the restaurant staff were especially lovely to chat with over a beer or two. The location, service, and hosts were all excellent. I hope to stay again next time I'm working nearby.

The friendly staff and really nice breakfast were the bright spots. But room quality seems to depend on luck. I spent a week here on a business trip, and for the price I expected better. Both rooms I had looked like they belonged in a hotel brochure from 50 years ago. Old furniture doesn't bother me, but the rooms smelled like grandma's house. In the first room, the shower walls went right up to the ceiling, and after two minutes it felt impossible to breathe. The toilet could barely flush anything besides toilet paper. I can't recommend the hotel, unless perhaps you're willing to pay the highest rate. I'll ask my company not to book me here again.
