The lake was lovely to look at from both the apartments and the restaurant. You can walk around it or simply sit and take in the view. The breakfast service was a real treat, with an excellent range and top quality. I also loved the sauna and pool, and the zen area was a relaxing place to unwind afterward. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well laid out, with a spa basket ready to take along. This place is outstanding.

We really enjoyed the rooms, and the food was super. The golf courses were very nice too. The staff were so cheerful and helpful. Looking forward to coming back next year.

The two hilly, interconnected 18-hole golf courses were a big plus and made up for a lot. The hotel is 25 years old and feels dated, and the rooms need a facelift. The food wasn’t very good, more like mass-produced fare. Breakfast especially could use fresher, healthier, higher-quality options.

We spent five very fine days at Balmer See, with the golf courses in excellent shape and the restaurants top class. This was our sixth visit, and we’ll come back. R.Willquist
