The garden had an early Christmas market, which was a lovely surprise. We’d stopped in by chance on our trip and arrived hoping to eat early, but had to wait until 17:00 because they don’t serve food before then. The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced, and the service was kind.

We stopped for lunch and the portions were generous. The local dishes were really tasty, and they had non-alcoholic beer too, which was handy since we still had a seven-hour drive ahead of us 🙂

We slept comfortably in immaculate rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the evening meals were delicious too.

There’s a good-sized Biergarten with a playground, and they even have a children’s menu, which not many places offer. Most of the choices are schnitzel, but it’s made really well. The service is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious.

We got married here and had an incredible experience. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and my wife and I had one of the best times of our lives. We still come back now and then for beer and a meal, and always leave happy and wanting another visit. They speak excellent English and are very accommodating. 10 out of 10, I’d recommend it to anyone after great Bavarian food and beer!
