The sauna was a relaxing end to the evening, and dinner was great too. The waiters were especially nice. Hotel Post Berching is a beautiful building right in the heart of the old town, opposite the church. I think the owner welcomed us, and they were warm and helpful. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, like the rest of the hotel. If there were a plus button, I’d give this place five stars and more. Thanks for a lovely stay. I only wish we’d had more than one night.

We stopped here for a night, and the charming village with its authentic city walls suited us perfectly. The hotel is neat, with a good restaurant, sauna facilities, and a generous breakfast that had plenty of healthy choices. Our attic room on the top floor was spacious and lovely, though too warm on a summer evening without air conditioning. The price was higher than what we saw on sites like booking.com, but after we discussed it, they adjusted it.

We came in October '23, when the hotel seemed mostly empty, but were given a third-floor room near the service elevator. It smelled of sewage. The view was nice, at least.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was excellent. I did expect a luxury hotel to have air conditioning, or at least a ventilator, so that cost it a star.

The staff were so kind, caring, and respectful. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I can highly recommend it.
