The room and reception area were spotless, and both had been decorated with real care and attention to detail. We were there for a small birthday dinner, and the owner was so attentive and polite. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect, and I can highly recommend this country hotel.

I felt very comfortable during my overnight stay, and they even sent my forgotten shirt to my home at no charge. I arrived late, but they still offered me dinner. I'd happily stay here again!

Free Wi-Fi and parking on site were included, and breakfast was generous too. The place is a friendly, charming country hotel with a rustic feel and simple furnishings. That's just how I like it, no need for frills. I was welcomed warmly, and dinner was great after we'd asked about it when booking. I'd gladly come back.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my hike from the Rennsteig trail to Burgstädt. My dog was no issue at all. When I arrived, the restaurant was closed, but they still made me something to eat. Then the next day brought heavy rain, and they offered to drive me part of the way. Fantastic!

The hotel sits in a beautiful, quiet rural spot, and my room was excellent. The owners were so, so friendly. The kitchen was closed the day I arrived, but he still managed to put together a fantastic meal for me. Huge thanks to him! I can highly recommend the hotel! 👍🏻
