The location worked really well for us, with the Pension at the foot of the mountains and an easy walk to the Seillbahn and town. Frau Imre also gave us a small Pension discount for the Seillbahn, which is a must, and shared helpful advice for planning our days. My husband and I stayed three nights. Our room was simple, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely view over the river and open land. The sound of the river at night was peaceful. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and Frau Imre made sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. One thing to plan for: the Pension, town, and surrounding area only accept cash, so bring plenty for your holiday.

I only stayed one night, arriving late and heading out just after breakfast. The door was shut, but a kind woman answered the bell a few seconds after I rang. She quickly showed me the room and explained the basics, then let me get some rest. She was there again at breakfast. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and had a beautiful view. Breakfast had a modest spread but plenty of choice, and the food was delicious. The coffee was especially good. The online menu looked very Hungarian, and I learned the owner is from Hungary and his wife speaks Hungarian fluently too. ☺️

The host was extremely unfriendly, so I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The facilities themselves were okay, though the furniture was a little old. It could work for a night or two.
