Some of the rooms are quite large, and the internet speed was good. But the reception staff came across as unprofessional and impolite, and didn't seem interested in helping or resolving problems. Heating was poor in winter, the bathroom floor was freezing with no heater, and there were cracks in the walls. I also heard what sounded like rats behind them. There was music from the pub downstairs every night. The old adjustable shower controls didn't work properly, and staff still entered the room despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who expects good service.

I went for a training course over the weekend, and the team were incredibly friendly. They even worked around our breakfast times. The attic room was beautiful, and I didn't feel anything was missing. The fresh scrambled or fried eggs in the morning were especially good. Thanks so much to the great team ❤️ Best wishes, Andrea Heinrich

It was a comfortable stay, and I’d gladly come back. The rooms were lovely and quiet, with a fridge, clean beds and a thick, firm mattress.
