Tuesday’s fish special made the meal for me: lightly battered and fried red snapper with greens and a delicious potato salad. With a Koelsch beer, it was a perfect German meal in a beautiful local German restaurant. Everything was just right.

Both times we ate dinner at the little restaurant, the food was excellent and the service outstanding. We’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and each visit exceeded our expectations. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the clean, cozy rooms in the beautiful historic building felt comfortable, almost like home. A lovely choice if you enjoy small, charming places away from the big city bustle.

We booked this place for a single night and were glad we did. The welcome was genuinely warm, the atmosphere felt homely, and we settled in straight away. Our room was comfortable and we slept really well. We had dinner there too, and luckily it was currywurst day. It was incredibly tasty. The little restaurant has the same friendly, open feel as the welcome, and you can tell the owners put their heart into what they do. We’ll definitely come back!
