Amaro Hotel

A handy place to stop for one night on a trip. Check-in at 8 pm on Saturday was simple using the computer, though staff aren't always there. There's a gas station right across the street.

The receptionists were really kind, which we appreciated. Our room was clean and well soundproofed, and breakfast was good. The shower was one of the best I've seen in a hotel. We picked this place because there weren't many options during Oktoberfest season. It's close to the main road and a long way from the train station.

The rooms are small but laid out well, and the shower is surprisingly spacious. The staff were helpful and always smiling. Amaro has everything an undemanding traveller needs, and I'd definitely stay again. If you arrive hungry late at night, there's a 24-hour gas station across the road with hot food, drinks and more in the shop. For a nicer place to eat or have a drink, Dachau is about a 10-minute drive, with places open after 11 pm. The hotel itself is clean and nice.

I had a delicious Flammkuchen for dinner for under €8, and breakfast was very good too. The hotel is modern and clean, with a tidy breakfast room and restaurant bar. The rooms are nice, if a bit small, and mine suited me perfectly. There's plenty of parking, and the A8 Autobahn near Dachau is easy to reach. Nearby you'll find a large fuel station and Kart Palast, the world's largest indoor electric GoKart track, with bowling and restaurants among its other activities.
