Abacus Tierpark Hotel Berlin

The location was perfect for my trip, and having safe parking available gave me real peace of mind. From the moment I arrived, the whole property looked neat and impeccably clean. I’m so glad I chose Abacus Tierpark Hotel in Berlin. It was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect experience.

We visited in 11/2025. It was €120 per night for 1+1 child including breakfast, plus €6 parking/night. The hotel and facilities are older, but the rooms were clean and spacious. Good location right by the metro station, with plenty of parking at a reasonable price. There was a fridge in the room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with enough choice.

The first 2 nights were very good, with clean rooms and a nice breakfast. The trouble started when I called at 9 in the morning to ask about staying for a third night. They said it was possible and that I could pay for the extra night at checkout the next day. They asked whether the room needed cleaning, and I said no. When I got back around 12:30, I went to the desk to pay and was told they were suddenly fully booked. The man I’d spoken to on the phone said he didn’t remember our conversation. When I gave him the exact time, he said rooms had been available then but were gone later. I asked how they could be unavailable if I’d reserved another night on the phone and he’d said everything was clear and there’d be no problem. Another woman said it wasn’t their fault, because of checkout times and other people booking later. But I had asked before them to reserve another room for myself. They got really aggressive and told me to leave, so I picked up my things and left the hotel. I ended up on the street without knowing where to go, though I figured it out afterwards. I’m really disappointed. If the hotel wants to keep its good points and treat guests well, I strongly suggest changing staff who use angry tones and say guests have to leave, there are no options, and everything is their fault.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel was good and well priced, the service was good, and the location was perfect. The U5 is nearby and gets you to the city highlights in 15 minutes. Shops and a bakery are close too.
