Airporthotel Berlin Adlershof

The Studio Appartement was very clean, with a large bathroom, and aside from the workers, the noise wasn't too bad. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it. I stayed for a full work week while maintenance work was going on after water damage on the first or second floor. I understand the damage wasn't their fault, but the noise and inconvenience did affect me. I asked at reception and also sent an email to request a refund or some other compensation. Nobody made a real effort to address it, and that's not how you treat a customer. Sad and disappointing.

The hotel was quiet at night, and the service was nice, including a complimentary welcome drink. There was free water in the room, plus free coffee and tea at reception. You could ask for a kettle, but there wasn't one in the room and no coffee or tea there either. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it. It's an affordable, convenient option if you need the airport or key city areas, with a metro station nearby. The room was very big, though the furniture and bathroom felt a bit old. Cleaning was good, but the worn furniture still made the room look less appealing. There was a bad smell in the bathroom that seemed to come from a drain problem.

We were among about 50 people who arrived at 04:30am after a flight cancellation. The receptionist was upbeat and really helpful, credit to her. The room was clean and tidy, though we didn't get a chance to try the dining. The hotel is quite a way from the airport, about 5 miles.

A good business hotel, with rooms that are well equipped. Mine was on the ground floor, so I couldn't open the curtains because people walked right past the windows. Check where your room is before you get the keys.
