The room was clean and the area had some nice restaurants. It's also conveniently near the TXL bus stop for Tegel, which was the main reason we stayed. But this isn't a hostel, just a room a woman rents to six people at a time. She doesn't accept credit cards, and linens cost extra.

For what it costs, it's okay, nothing more. The small bathroom reeked of chlorine, which made the place seem clean.

The location wasn't great, and there weren't enough outlets for a six-person dorm. There's no stove or oven either. Staff never answered the phone or the door, so we had no idea where they were. Don't book.

For the price we paid, I was satisfied. The neighborhood was nice, though the hostel isn't very central, and the metro ride is about five minutes. The owner was kind and helpful, but after seeing her at the start of our stay, we could only reach her later if needed. It's a tiny hostel in a building with no lobby. Our room was tidy and clean, and so was the small bathroom. The blankets and sheets were poor quality. On the first night, loud exhaust noise kept us awake, but it didn't happen again.
