There was plenty of space for my family of five, and the apartment could comfortably sleep seven. It's large, nicely furnished, and reasonably priced. Two U Bahn stations are nearby, with quick connections to two lines and the S Bahn, and there's a grocery store close by too. A few things kept it from being five stars: we couldn't get the Wi-Fi working, though our cell service was fine; there was no shower curtain, which made showering a bit of an experience for me as an American; and parking was on the street. We did find a spot nearby, so parking wasn't a problem.

The neighborhood was quiet, with the apartment near the subway and supermarkets, and about ten minutes from Alexander Platz. I stayed there in September with seven friends. The rooms are arranged over several levels: downstairs there's a small living room and bathroom; on the first floor are another bathroom, the kitchen, and a bedroom with two queen-sized beds. Higher up are two more bedrooms, each with two small beds, so it can sleep up to eight. The furnishings are basic, just the essentials. The owner was friendly. She didn't speak much English, but managed to make herself understood. She has a small pub right next door and likes guests to stop in for a beer.
