Apartmenthaus Berlin Mitte

We stayed in a very nice apartment with our three kids, and its location made it easy to get to Berlin's important places. Room service was excellent and they stayed in touch with us throughout. Everything was good. Thanks to the Homaris team.

The online check-in could have gone better. We waited over an hour to get our room number. Once settled, the apartment was big enough for our family with two kids, the internet worked well the whole time, and we enjoyed our stay overall. Some maintenance is needed.

The location was the one good thing. The apartment was old and dirty, with stained, smelly carpet and sofa. There wasn't a pan, so I had to cook in a pot, and the toaster was broken. The mattresses were thin and sloped to one side. WiFi was very slow and kept cutting out.

The apartment felt badly worn, including the furniture, and was disappointing in almost every way. I know rental places have a hard life, but it seemed like the least possible effort had gone into looking after it. The WiFi only worked about half the time, so I ended up using my own hotspot to get anything done on the TV. There were hairs in the bathtub drain and on the walls, a full bag in the bathroom trash can, and a dirty toilet. The bathroom was generally dirty and very worn down. Carpets throughout were dirty, and so was the kitchen, which was in poor repair. There was a cup of frozen "water" in the freezer. A lot was missing from the kitchen: not enough cutlery for the number of beds, or even for the four of us and our youngest, and not enough glasses. The promised baby bed wasn't there at first. It was delivered after I wrote, but couldn't be assembled properly, even though it was usable. We were told toilet paper was in a shared cupboard, but no one checked it, and it had been left open and empty.
