The place was spotless, which might be the best part. Olaf welcomes you with a drink while showing you around the property and explaining the area. There's a more relaxing feel here than in a typical stay, with atmospheric lighting, an espresso machine, and access to amenities throughout the house, including outside your own room. You can also borrow bicycles for free and use the small pool.

The location is a little outside the center, but getting around is pretty easy, especially if you combine public transport with the bikes. Berlin is huge, so crossing it takes time wherever you stay. I've never stayed in a better AirBnB. The apartment had literally everything, and you can use anything in the room, kitchen, or garden. It's just as described, so you can count on things being there when you need them. The house is thoughtfully designed, with loads of little touches that make the stay more pleasant. It may even beat a 5-star hotel. The free bikes were a favorite. They came fully equipped, with helmets, lights, locks, phone cases, and more. Olaf is extremely nice and always happy to chat or have a drink in the shared areas.
