City Hotel am Kurfürstendamm

The room and bathroom were filthy. The shower head and the seams in the shower were disgusting, all three toothbrush glasses were dirty, and paint was peeling from the ceiling above the shower. The door was unevenly painted, and there were white spots all over the nightstand and wall behind the bed, as if cleaning spray had been used and left unwiped. Breakfast was okay, but the milk wasn't cold and those glasses were dirty too. My friend also had a towel she'd brought from home stolen. After we showered, our hair became greasy. I'd never recommend this hotel. Stay away!

The elevator was damaged and only went up to the fourth floor, so avoid the fifth. There were no facilities apart from WiFi. The hotel is very old inside and doesn't look like the photos. I don't recommend it at all.

The booking site made it look good, but the room, especially on the fifth floor, felt like something out of a horror movie.

The hotel is in a good location, but the service was the worst I've had at any hotel. The elevators weren't working at all. Other guests said it had been going on for months, while the receptionist insisted it had only been one day. The receptionist seemed a little biased against my race and offered no solution. Instead, they put me on the 12th floor and suggested my grandmother carry her suitcase upstairs. There was no refund, no manager showed up, and no help with the elevator. Disgusting service.
