Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku’damm by IHG

For the price and location, this hotel is hard to beat. The interior does look a bit dated, tacky and cheap, though. Staff were extremely friendly, genuine and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good too, which makes this a great option for business travelers, especially if breakfast matters to you.

It was easy to get settled, with a quick, painless check-in that I mostly did in the IHG App. I used Hotel Indigo as my base in Berlin while traveling around the country. My room had all the amenities I needed, and the bathroom especially ticked every box for me. The gym also had the equipment I wanted, and the restaurant food was good. Zoologischer Station is a very short walk away, with most Berlin rail companies serving it. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. All in all, I had a wonderful stay.

With a rain shower, nice beds, excellent WiFi and even a balcony, I don't get why earlier reviewers complained about the rooms. Location and staff were top notch too. If you're after a spa or a California king bed, hotels down the street have those, though not at anything close to this price. I'll be recommending Indigo for my Berlin trips from now on.

We had three rooms this week, and the excellent front desk service and location made for a great stay. As a Diamond member, I think this is an excellent hotel. Special thanks to Mr. Nabil and Mr. Anas for welcoming my colleague and me so warmly and treating us kindly.
