I'm still here, writing this from my room. It's cozy and clean, with a great view, and the breakfast is very good. The location's great too, close to the train station, with lots of restaurants nearby. S9 can get you anywhere in Berlin, and the canal is close by for a cozy walk. I highly recommend it.

The location in the Old City of Spandau puts you among a real mix of people and cuisines, with restaurants from all over the world close by. The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff are polite, helpful, and able to speak English. When I was there in summer 2023, work was still underway on the nearby metro station. Once it’s finished, the entrance should be only a few metres from the hotel’s front door.

Breakfast is good, though the menu stays the same each day. The staff are really supportive and the hospitality is good. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s an easy walk to both the U-Bahn and the bus stop.

You’ve got shops right outside, and the well-known sights like Brandenburg Gate and Mall of Berlin are about a 15-minute drive away. Berlin Spandau train station is just 1 km from the hotel, and parking is available around it. A good, affordable place to stay, clean and friendly, with an uncomplicated feel.

The hotel’s in a great spot in the center of former old Spandau, with shops and restaurants around. It’s an older building, but in good shape, and the metro takes about 40 minutes to reach central Berlin. We had one problem, though. There was a dripping-water sound coming from the wall near our room, and I couldn’t get to sleep. Reception closed at 22:00, so there wasn’t anything I could do about it.
