Hotel Schöneberg

My room connected directly to the reception, and the gift on the pillar was clear! The building is old, and the rooms face the main streets, so it was far too noisy. Breakfast options were limited. The price was high, though I think that may have been because the marathon was coming up.

The location is great, with lots of places to eat nearby, so I skipped the small breakfast. The rooms can get quite warm, but the heating is adjustable. Most of the staff were fine, and the staff overall were very polite. I’d give four out of five for the checkout experience: I’d agreed on a slightly later checkout, and the day before I was told there’d be a note in my room. When I went to hand in my keys, the receptionist, an older German woman, looked unhappy and surprised, then told me I must check out on time in future.

For 115€ on a busy weekend, booked spontaneously, I really can’t complain. The fridge had drinks you could pay for later if you took them. There was a TV, clean shower, Wlan, and a comfy bed, everything I needed to recharge after a stressful week. Would very much recommend it and visit again. 5/5.

Really comfy and clean, with super friendly, helpful staff. Great location too.
