I met some wonderful people and got attached to Wilson the cat, and the movie nights were a lot of fun. I’d been nervous about taking my first solo hostel trip, but I felt at home almost right away. Everything was clean while still feeling homely.

The shared spaces make it easy to get social as soon as you arrive. You might head out with people, or end up staying in to chat and drink beers by the fireplace that’s lit every night. The beds, kitchen, atmosphere, people, and location are all great, and even the fridge is spotless, with nothing old left in it. The place is clearly cared for by good people. Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Europe. I’ll definitely come back more than once.

The rooms and beds are really comfortable, and there’s plenty of communal space both indoors and out. Sandino has fantastic facilities, with staff who’ve made the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. An incredible place :)

Sandino has a beautiful, original, creative feel, with a campfire atmosphere. We had a wonderful time staying in the tipi. The common area is cozy and well equipped, and it’s a nice place to meet people. The team were friendly and provided great service. We’d definitely recommend this special camping space and hostel!

Easily the most relaxed, coolest place I’ve stayed. The staff were attentive but laid-back, and I met some amazing people. I won’t stay anywhere else in Berlin now!
