The staff were really nice, but the rest left me disappointed. The rooms are very small, with only two outlets each, which felt outdated even back in 2019. The bathrooms are shared among several rooms, a setup some youth hostels still use, but I really hate it. Breakfast was okay, though the selection was too limited, maybe 3/5. It's about 30 minutes from the city centre. This might have been less surprising in a small village with an attraction for school trips, but for Germany's capital, I've definitely stayed in better places.

The staff were nice, and the hostel was roughly 30 minutes from the centre by public transport. But the room for six had only two sockets, nowhere near the beds or the table. I also couldn't find WiFi in that six-person room. One star for every socket in there.

The neighbors were loud, which was my only issue. Otherwise, I enjoyed this Youth Hostel: the breakfast was great, there were games, and the staff were nice and caring.

The hostel has seen better days, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.

The shared bathroom serves several rooms, and the hostel is far from the centre.
