Michelberger Hotel Berlin

I’d visited Michelberger before for food and drinks, but after two nights I became a total fan. The atmosphere is hip, young, and cool, with a really relaxed vibe. The interior and rooms are lovely, and the beds and pillows were fantastic. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. From check-in through check-out, it was a wonderful stay. I’ll be back. The coffee and cheese rosti sandwiches in the cafe were a real highlight for me. Macia at the front desk (sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong) went above and beyond to welcome us to our room and set a positive tone for the stay. We’ll be back when we return to Berlin. The rooms are bright, modern, and spacious, which made the stay relaxing and comfortable. The hotel is in the east of the city, with easy access to lots of sbahns, ubahns, streetcars, and cycling options. There are running routes along the river and past historic buildings, and bars and restaurants everywhere. The quality and service here are unlike anything else in the area, or Berlin.

The staff were warm and helpful, and it’s a handy base for exploring Berlin. Breakfast was great too. The rooms have a quirky feel, and the bar gets busy, which makes sense because it’s so good. I’d stay again next time I’m in town.

I actually came back for another night after checking out to move to a different hotel across the city. I was very happy here. The beds were super comfortable, with lovely bedding, and breakfast was superb, with high-quality organic, farm-grown produce. I also liked the Micheberger shower gel and moisturiser, and bought a few bottles along with the spirited away fragrance. The shower and taps are said to filter water through crystal for good vibes and energy.
