Myer's Hotel Berlin

Myer’s Hotel is always our go-to in Berlin. The rooms all have their own eclectic style, which I love, though choosing one when booking is so hard. Staff are amazing and attentive to everything we need. We also love the cozy chic bar, where Eric makes the most amazing cocktails, and Lily is so lovely, overseeing an incredible buffet breakfast each morning. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were attentive. I also loved the cozy bar and the thoughtful decor. The room was clean and comfortable, with little details handled so well. It’s in a perfect spot for exploring Berlin. We didn’t have time to try the spa, but I’m sure it’s top notch. Highly recommend!

My wife became ill on the day we were due to fly, so we couldn’t travel for our booking from Dec 30th to Jan 4th 2026. We explained what happened and offered medical reports, but the hotel relied on its 48h policy and gave us no refund. It seems you’re expected to predict when you’ll get sick. I also asked why they couldn’t refund three nights out of our five, even if cancelling within 48 hours wasn’t free, but got no proper answer. This doesn’t feel like a customer focused business. It’s good that the hotel replied, though the tone of its message only proved my point. I’ll stick to what I promised and hope they learn to care more about customers someday, though I clearly doubt it.

Erik, the Bar Manager, was a real highlight. His service and company were outstanding, and the bar itself was great. The hotel exceeded our expectations, with comfortable, very quiet rooms where we slept well, plus a great choice of pillows for fussy sleepers. Breakfast was sumptuous, and the location is close to public transport and the local buzz. A brilliant boutique hotel.
