Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof

The fitness and spa facilities were spotless and excellent. The indoor pool was a pleasant temperature and big enough for a decent swim. I’m more used to bars and weight machines, so I looked up how to use the smart-looking technogym kinesis equipment online and got a very good workout. The sauna and steamroom were immaculate and worked perfectly. There were plenty of towels, plus a shower in the changing area to freshen up before going back to the room. I also noticed fruit and lemon water by the fitness reception. These facilities matter a lot to me, so I really appreciated their quality. Our fifth-floor room had a lovely view over the Berlin's Teirgarten and was superbly equipped: tea and coffee, USB sockets, a large flat-screen TV, a well-designed desk and bathroom, an excellent walk-in shower, and a very comfortable extra-large bed. The lobby smelled of perfume when we arrived, and Front Office Shift Leader Ms Meivita (Vita) Lumarso greeted us. I’d spoken with her before our visit, and she remembered our phone conversation. She checked us in efficiently, a little early after finding a room that was ready, and we chatted about her home country Indonesia, where I’d also lived for some time. Her professional, courteous, cheerful manner got our four-day Berlin holiday off to a fantastic start. Breakfast was excellent, with all the usual foods you’d expect at a quality European hotel. We had dinner twice at the hotel's 'Blend' restaurant and enjoyed the chicken and fillet mignon dishes. Pasquali took great care of us and was wonderfully kind when he realized it was my wife’s birthday, bringing us a German liquor after dinner. Our four days at the Berlin Pullman were effortless, fun, and very comfortable.
