Right in the middle of Kreuzberg, with public transport, local food and nightlife close by. The space was laid out well and had great amenities. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone heading to Berlin.

We were four friends and found the apartment comfortable and nice. The location was excellent. The owner was a little slow to respond, though.

The location puts you right between Kreuzberg and Mitte, but getting there by car is a hassle. There’s hardly any parking, and restaurant customers block things up. Even though the apartments face a courtyard, it’s noisy: construction, restaurants just outside the bedroom window, and neighbors banging around, sometimes as early as six in the morning. You can hear the nightlife upstairs too, with doors slamming and heavy footsteps echoing across the parquet floor. The kitchen is tiny and poorly equipped for four people. There’s no oven, the fridge is little more than a single-person mini-fridge, and the two-burner hob makes the place seem better suited to one guest. The bathroom has no window and smells musty, and the drainage throughout the apartment seems inadequate. The decor and other furnishings are okay. For me, what you get doesn’t justify the price. I wouldn’t return even at half the cost. The apartment is one thing, and the neglect of Berlin is another.
