The rooms are nicely furnished, and the bathroom looked practically new. There’s a fridge in the hallway with cold drinks, too. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and more than plentiful. For the price, the service was really pleasant and the value was outstanding.

Berlingerode itself doesn’t have much going on, but it suited our Iron Curtain cycling trip just fine. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, and in the end we went to the Pizzahaus because nowhere else was open. That worked out fine. The rooms are small but very tidy, with a little fridge stocked with drinks, and we could keep our bikes in the shed. The breakfast was tasty and generous, and the hostess was super nice. Simple and good.

Breakfast was lovingly put together and had everything we could want. The hosts were so kind and kept asking if we needed anything, always trying to make everyone happy, though of course that doesn’t always work when some people complain. They gave us a really warm welcome, and we had a thoroughly wonderful week away.

The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were excellent. We got in really late, but the directions to our room were clear and worked perfectly even at that hour. The owner was wonderful and made us a fantastic breakfast. We’d love to return to this beautiful area.

Changing our booking on the day we arrived was no trouble at all, and booking by phone had been easy too. It’s a very cozy guesthouse, clearly run with a lot of care. We’d love to come back.
