It was especially nice to feel so welcomed, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I appreciated that all the more because that kind of welcome isn't so common in such a touristy region.

The hotel is in a quiet street, with easy access from the port straight into the center of Bernkastel. It's close to the bus and car parking by the port on the Mosel River, and a nearby bridge leads to supermarkets and other places. The rooms were good, but there wasn't much space to relax and the information desk felt cramped. It's a Pakistani-owned hotel, and dining is at the neighboring Pakistani restaurant, which serves Indian dishes in a special class. I had the best Winersnitsel, juicy, large, and cooked like a master chef had made it. The restaurant is in demand for its good food, and takeaways are available. I was satisfied with my six days at the hotel.

Breakfast was okay. My room was cozy and nice, right in the center, yet very quiet. With the windows shut, you couldn't hear a thing.
