Hotel zur Post

The room was okay, but both meals were very basic. Breakfast was nothing special, and dinner wasn't tasty either 😋.

We felt very comfortable here, and had a really nice short break. The hotel has a lovely rustic charm and is comfortably furnished, and our room was great. If you like a modern style, though, this probably isn't for you. Everything is within walking distance, and breakfast was tasty and served quickly. The rolls were good, especially the bread.

The hotel isn't modern, but it was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had everything you could want, and the town center is only a few meters away. Parking in Bernkastel-Kues is in the large parking lot. We'll definitely return next time.

Our room faced the street, and it was so noisy that we had to keep the windows shut. The shower was a disaster, and the elevator had been out of order for quite a while. At check-in, the man seemed unenthusiastic. The woman at the breakfast buffet was extremely unfriendly. She put us at a table with other guests, and when we asked to sit by ourselves, she got very angry. After we complained, we finally had our own table the next morning. Other guests we spoke to were dissatisfied too. Not recommended.
