I found the breakfast disappointing. There were hard-boiled eggs only if you asked, and for three guests they brought out just a few bread slices, adding four more only after we asked again. The coffee was terribly weak, there was hardly any cold milk, and on a Monday they even served pre-baked rolls. They were very stingy with everything, while the room prices were anything but.

The location is fantastic. The name and signs suggest it’s an inn, though, when it’s really just accommodation you can book as a room or apartment.

There are lots of hiking trails nearby, and restaurants are easy to reach by car. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was varied and thoughtfully prepared. The cozy rooms and breakfast room have a rural feel that suits this charming country inn in a quiet little village in the beautiful Mittelallgäu region. I felt completely at home here. If you like peace and warm hospitality, this is a good fit.

Charlotte, our hostess, gave us great suggestions for things to do nearby, and the breakfast was beautifully set out with plenty of choice. We spent three days here and were very happy with our stay.
