Hotel Bevertal

Friendly service, a clean room and good value.

We were unbelievably cold during our one-night stay. The whole building felt freezing, as though the heating hadn’t been on for days. The small room radiators stopped working at 10 p.m., and one bathroom radiator didn’t work at all. Renovations were apparently going on, but nobody told us beforehand. We were the only guests. Given the conditions, they shouldn’t have rented out rooms. It was unacceptable.

We felt very comfortable during our pleasant stay, and the hotel was tidy, clean and well maintained. It’s in a quiet residential area of detached houses with a beautiful view. The Kirsch family, who own it, are very friendly and accommodating. Both Beverungen and the path along the Weser River are within walking distance, and the town has what you need, including restaurants, supermarkets and a pharmacy. We highly recommend it. I stayed there after the renovation and change of owner. The rooms are small but practical, with a comfortable bed. The owner is friendly, and breakfast was good and generous. Rooms have balconies, and when the weather’s nice there’s a hot tub and sauna in the garden!
