Best Western Transmar Travel Hotel

The staff were friendly, and I got a solid night's sleep in a clean, quiet room. I only needed a place to stay because my car broke down unexpectedly. The price felt a little high, probably because it was during the summer holidays.

A handy spot near the motorway, with plenty of parking. The rooms were clean, the service was very nice, and breakfast tasted good. I'd recommend it.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they even let us check in much earlier. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a great choice of cheeses. The hotel is very functional, though it isn't fully up to date, and the rooms feel a bit old and dark. There weren't enough outlets to charge our devices. Wi-Fi is free for two hours, then you have to renew it for free; that was a bit annoying, and the connection was very slow, possibly because the hotel was well booked. Transmar Travel Hotel is in Bindlach, right at the edge of Bayreuth, just 2.6 km from the Wagner Festspielhaus.

Breakfast is well worth the price, and the bathrooms are spacious. It's good value if you're only staying a few nights. The rooms are clean, though the mattresses felt a bit too hard and the walls are quite thin.
