Gästehaus Sonneck

A great base for exploring, with lots of places to visit nearby and the ski lift very close. The accommodation is lovely and peaceful, with everything needed for a holiday. The hosts were so nice, we'd happily return.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast had everything I needed. I stayed for a weekend at the Sonneck guesthouse. The location worked well, and my room was clean and comfortably furnished. I'd stay again.

Hello Kühhorn family, We've been visiting Bischofsgrün since 1996 and staying at your guesthouse since 1997. After 28 years, we felt it was time to say thank you, even if the length of our visits probably says plenty on its own. The rooms and apartments are well furnished and very clean, and both the setting and the surrounding landscape are superb. What makes it feel like a family place is how friendly and helpful you are. You make time for guests and are always ready to listen. We can wholeheartedly recommend you. Best wishes from the Germer family, and see you next year!

The apartment is spotless and in excellent condition. It’s a bright, modern, spacious two-room place, with the kitchen in the living room and a bathroom with a shower. There’s a comfortable bed and mattress and a large wardrobe in the bedroom. The living room has a sofa, TV, and dining table. The kitchen has plenty of everything you need: a stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, and dishes. There’s also a storage room for skis, snowboards, and boots. It’s about a five-minute walk to the cable car, and parking at the accommodation is free. The village has a supermarket, several restaurants, a pharmacy, ATMs, and other shops. It’s a small, quiet village and a great base for winter sports or an active summer holiday. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Communication before our stay was pleasant, and they offer daily bread delivery.
