It’s a family run place with a really calm feel. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice for vegetarians too. The family pays attention to the little things throughout the service. It’s also a great base for seeing the beautiful Lüneburger Heide and Südheide.

The setting is fantastic, and the service and food were both amazing. Everything was extremely clean. Such a wonderful German guesthouse, an absolute gem. I’ll be back.

I messed up my booking, but they still helped me get a refund even though it was nonrefundable. Such an honest, great place!

Some of the photos on this page look pretty old and don’t show how the place is now. We spent two nights here on our bike tour through the Lüneburg Heath and had a really lovely room in the completely renovated house. The owners live across the street and are right there if you need anything. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I can definitely recommend staying here.

We were very happy with our stay and would book again. The hotel is well maintained, and our room was lovely and clean. Breakfast had everything we could want, and the service was excellent. It suited our visit to Heide Park perfectly, with restaurants easy to get to as well. We’d definitely recommend it! :)
