Lodgepark Goitzsche GmbH

We loved the Lodgepark enough to come back before next year, so we booked another week at short notice, from August 17th to August 24th. The weather was perfect, and our bungalow was beautifully furnished and in a great spot. We told our friends about it, and I’m sure our enthusiasm rubbed off. Thanks to the management and the whole team for making such a wonderful holiday possible so close to home. We’ll definitely return. Our first stay was from July 13th to July 20th, 2025, and it started badly: we had an accident 30 km from our destination and couldn’t arrive on time. Huge thanks to Tom for helping us check in and supporting us with the accident formalities. Even with that start, we had a lovely holiday. The bungalow was fantastic, very clean, and really well equipped. We felt comfortable there, and the lake view was a highlight. We also liked the little bay near the accommodation. The one downside is the main road behind the building. Otherwise, this is a wonderful, upscale place to stay. The owners were friendly, courteous, and helpful, and gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment when we arrived. There’s even a sauna in the bathroom, and a small swimming area just 50 meters away. It’s right by the bike path in a central spot. We had a private space behind a barrier for €5 a day, though there’s lots of parking around the complex too. A bakery and discount supermarket are 400 meters away. We’ll definitely come back.

We were looking for a lakeside holiday home within a two-hour trip and hadn’t thought of Bitterfeld-Wolfen as a holiday destination. We were skeptical, but Lodgepark at Lake Goitzsche turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The staff gave us a warm welcome and a thorough orientation before we settled into our holiday home. The modern lodges are made by Dutch company ARCABO and come in different sizes. We chose the Long Beach model, which suited us perfectly. It was bright and welcoming, with a TV, air conditioning, kitchen, bed linens, and towels. Mosquito nets on the windows and doors let us enjoy the summer air without being bothered. We had breakfast on the terrace looking over the lake, then spent time enjoying the area. There are great cycling paths around the lakes, boat trips, and lots of other things to do. You can rent bikes near the water level tower, about a 10-minute walk away. For dinner we either cooked in the well-equipped kitchen or tried the cozy local restaurants. Our house, No. 19, had strong free Wi-Fi, handy for sending our holiday photos, and we could lock our bikes in the shed. The car was in a private parking lot for €5 a day, which seemed fair. We ended up having a relaxing, varied break somewhere we hadn’t considered before, and can highly recommend a visit to Bitterfeld-Wolfen.

Lake Goitzsche is a beautiful setting for a relaxing stay. We had a really positive time at Lodge Park Goitzsche GmbH and would happily return. Everything from booking and payment to arrival and departure went smoothly, and we felt looked after right away. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Haus Orlando was modern, cozy, and very clean. The built-in infrared sauna was a lovely bonus and made our stay feel extra relaxing. We can wholeheartedly recommend it! 😇👌🏻🌿✨
