The garden is a nice place to unwind, and there was plenty of space for our big family. The landlord is very nice, and everything we needed was there. We'd gladly return.

The garden was fantastic, and we had a wonderful few days in Blankenburg. Our family of six stayed three nights in the two-bedroom apartment. It was bright and spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished. Thank you so much!

We had ants throughout the small holiday apartment, and it wasn't very clean. There was hardly a way to cook a proper meal, and the basics provided make it completely unsuitable for a family with two children. The hot water ran out very fast, barely enough for one bath, and was still cold the following day.

The hostess was nice, but the apartment was in no state to rent. The furnishings felt like a random pile of junk, and it hadn't been cleaned properly. We found long black hairs in the toilet and bathtub when we arrived, the shower curtain and every power strip were filthy, and the bedroom bed frame was broken. The back garden was completely neglected too. The coffee machine was ancient, dirty, and barely usable. A comparable new one costs €7.99. The plastic tablecloth and old rugs added to the feeling that nobody had put care into the place. A proper clean and about €300 spent on new rugs and a coffee machine could have made it acceptable. Instead, we spent the whole week wondering if anyone would ever come back. Taste is subjective, and at this price you can't expect five-star accommodation or luxury, but this was a complete disappointment and completely unacceptable, even with an otherwise nice hostess.
