The hotel looks a little tired, but we were comfortable and received a warm welcome. The food alone makes it worth visiting. It was exceptional quality, probably the best meal I've ever had in Germany, and at a bargain price. The value for money was excellent too. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

I had a great few days here and felt really relaxed. The food was excellent, breakfast included, and my motorbike was parked under cover. That was only to be expected at a motorcycle friendly hotel. I enjoyed chatting in my tourist German, and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

We slept really well, and everything was clean and as described. Breakfast was great, especially the excellent coffee, and the lady owner was very pleasant and multilingual. The hotel is a short, pretty walk from the village, about 400m away. The village is worth visiting, and parking at the hotel is spacious and free, unlike the paid parking in the village. The food was excellent, far better than what we found elsewhere in the Eifel. For us, though, the most important thing was the welcome, and it was perfect. A magnificent stop along the Eifelsteig!

The rooms were shabby, noisy, and very old. The kegelbahn was closed despite being promoted on booking. I wouldn't recommend it.

The people were nice, and the food was good. The decor has a cozy, original style, though the place is a little worn down even for that kind of hotel.
