Gästehaus Vogl

Having lots of places to plug in and charge my tablet and phone was a real bonus, something I rarely find in similar places. The owner-run guesthouse is charming, and our room was tastefully furnished. It also makes a great base for excursions. We were delighted.

The bed was comfortable, and unlike at many other places I’ve stayed, I didn’t wake up with back pain. We were there for four nights in an apartment with a bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Everything was very clean and thoroughly cleaned each day. Breakfast was good, with plenty of everything, and the location was quiet and very nice. Mrs. Vogl was a lovely hostess, and we’d gladly come back.

Apartment 1 had a lovely balcony view and was bright, welcoming, and tastefully furnished, like the other apartments. My wife and I spent a week here and found it very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, and they took individual needs into account. Mrs. Vogl puts her heart into making guests comfortable. The house is 3 km from the center of Bodenmais, with a local bus every two hours. It’s free for guest card holders. We were very satisfied and would gladly recommend the accommodation.
