Parkresidenz

We’ve been coming here for several years and have usually been very satisfied. The apartment is lovely, but this time the balcony furniture was still stored away in the open shed under the roof and was absolutely filthy. The balcony table was dirty too. I scrubbed it three times, and the cloth was still coming away dirty. That was unpleasant and not what we’re used to here. There had been plenty of time to clean it. The family next door and the one downstairs had small children who were sometimes very loud. Then about eight people squeezed onto the four-square-meter balcony beside us, making so much noise that we left to get away from it. We really aren’t used to that here. Anyone looking for peace and quiet might be better off in the Würfelhäuser, where people seem to be more considerate of one another. There’s enough stress and noise in everyday life already. Even so, we’d be happy to come back next year, just not to the smaller holiday homes. We’ve stayed here four times before and were always more than satisfied.

The peaceful setting was what stood out to me most. There are lots of hiking routes nearby, and Warnemünde is easy to reach too. It’s a great place to get away from everyday life. The apartment in Börgerende near Heiligendamm was brand new when we stayed. Highly recommended. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The owners were really kind and quick to help. Our shower was draining slowly because the drain was a little blocked, and they had it fixed the same day we called. The apartment is lovely and very close to the beach, so we’d happily stay again and recommend it. The kitchen could use a few more basics. We were short on bin bags, and there were only two dishwasher tablets. The sofa bed also had no blanket or pillow. In summer we managed with the duvet cover, though having those items would be useful in winter.
